My fondest of memories of Josh that means a lot to me is when I was living in Alexandria getting back on my feet and going to school at NVCC many seasons ago. I would either be sleeping or studying for next day classes when suddenly there was a wrapping on my window or my phone going off. It was Josh and or Justin, maybe sometimes both asking me to come to IHOP or Denny’s with them or him. It may be frustrating to some people because who likes to be woken up or bothered at 2am, but it did not bother me. It was a time we could talk, really talk about what he was thinking, going through or how he was doing in his own space. He may not have talked a lot, but the conversations we shared you could both come to know of and understand the good person that he was behind the masks of his internal battles. Sometimes it just takes that one person to make a difference and I felt that me being there did that for him at that time we had come to know one another.
